Who is Nifty Ness?

Hello! I'm Vanessa Fernandes, the creative mind behind Nifty Ness Designs, a small design business in Perth, Australia.

 

I was born and raised in beautiful Cape Town, South Africa, but now call Australia my home. I run Nifty Ness Designs from my home based studio, shared with my lovely family.

 

My love for drawing and art began when I was just a child, spending countless hours with a pen and paper. Fast forward over 40 years, and I'm still immersed in creativity, now utilizing an iPad and computer alongside traditional methods.

 

I kicked off my creative career fresh out of high school and I've enjoyed roles in advertising, promotional marketing, signage, clothing design, and the dreamy world of children's book illustrations.

 

I’m passionate about all things creative, whether it’s branding for business or fun personal projects like invitations or pet portraits. Variation keeps the creative juices flowing.
